Labour day.

1st of May!!!
I have been counting and counting to this very day to arrive.
Cause it’s like finally I get to have a official day of from work.
All the mundane stuffs at work are just mentally torturous.
Wells~ mental health aside, I guess work have made me exercise less.
Hmm… I seriously feel physically out of shape.
I feel that I seriously need to flex my hibernating muscles before it’s too late.
Hahs.
CYCLING!!!
I couldn’t remember where that idea came from.
But it was ingenious ;)
Firstly, I MISS THE BEACH!
Secondly, it’ll be great to catch up with the juniors.
Bet they miss the lovely seniors a lot. Haha.

So we, bring me, my roommate, fritzie and yit an pulled ourselves up early to get to ECPeeee!!
Where else with cycling tracks, beach and the sea breeze?!?
We tried to be there as early as possible to avoid the crowd.
Cause yeah~ it can be really hard to even cycle if there’s a crowd.

11a.m.
Marine cove is already packed with people.
People skating, cycling, jogging etc etc.
Great.
Well, Singapore is just so densely populated so it’s not rare to have so many early birds like us.
We got ourselves a bike for just 6 bucks for 2 hours!!! INCLUSIVE OF A FREE DRINK!!
Luckily for fritzie’s good knowledge about where to get the cheapest bike.
At first I didn’t believe as other stalls are renting for 6 bucks per hour only.
But I was really impressed by the super reasonable and attractive package at this stall fritzie brought us to.

By the time we got our bikes ready, it’s already 11.30.
And the sun is like at its most excited state, emitting UV rays like nobody’s business.
Hahs
What a great time to cycle and have a tan isn’t it?
Haha.
We cycled from marine cove to the very end of ECP.
Chatted about so many stuffs along the way.
So much of catching up to do since fritzie changed her job n times.
As for yit an, what else?!? Studies and the many gossips she has from college and hostel.
Hahaha~
We were feeling totally exhausted at the end of ECP, like duh~
And so we trespassed into SAFRA!!
Hahs.
Someone, whom I couldn’t remember who, led us into parking our bikes at a bicycle rental booth unknowingly.
What a brilliant idea right?
Luckily one of us realised it just before we were about to hunt for drinks.
People may think it’s free bike day for labour day.
Hahas.

At this very end of ECP, there was hardly any people.
It’s really nice.
Sometimes, seeing many people around is just very frustrating.
Had a great time with just four of us, enjoying the sea breeze, taking in the fresh air.

Staring at the sea by the beach is just soooooooooo relaxing.
Haih~
I just feel like standing there, letting the sea breeze caress my whole body forever. So nice. So gentle.

Ming Hwei met us for lunch at parkway.
Aww~~ she just missed the fun cycling with us. What a pity. Haha~
We headed off to my suite after lunch for cards.
I guess the girls unknowingly traumatised my neighbours.
They were like screeeaaaaming as they play.
There goes my very good reputation in the house.

Dinner was at SARPINOS!!! =D
I think they serve one of the better pizzas in Singapore.
Toppings were very very generous.
I shall save the trouble of describing.
