No greater love....than this.

This weekend was really cool.
Fritzie a.k.a MONICA and I have been talking about this JB trip for quite sometime.
So, we decided to get our butts off and head down for a shopping spree.
Vina and learn khang came along.
Yeah, we have one thing in common.
We’re colleagues!
Super cool rite!
Going on a trip with colleagues =)

So, sat morning we all woke up the same time as any other working day =\
I so reluctantly pulled myself out of bed.
It’s like I so wanna wake up late on a sat morning.
But wells, that’s the sacrifice I had to make to avoid the crowd and have more time to spare in JB.

Four of us went in two different groups.
Team A consists of fritzie and vina.
Team B consists of me and learn khang.
The first pit stop was Woodlands Checkpoint.
Crossing the checkpoint was super fast for me even though there was a HUGE HUGE crowd there.
Because as me and learn khang was wondering around to find a shorter queue, one counter just opened right in front of me.
Hahas.
However, at the checkpoint, Team A is still leading even though they got stuck for about 10 minutes.
They managed to board bus 170 right in front of us.
Team B followed closely behind.
Evantually, Team A got to the final pit stop – JB Checkpoint a minute before Team B.

That was where we met up and walked to city square.

We headed straight for the Cineplex!!!

Wells, because the movie tics are just so cheap as compared to Singapore.
Here, a movie tic just cost S$ 4 ONLY!!
That’s the weekend price and it’s STILL CHEAPER than the weekday student priced ticket in Singapore =D
That is why I’m a total movie fan back in Msia.
Especially during the 3 months hols after As.
Watch till I literally ran out of movies to watch. Ahahaha.
So, we watched definitely, maybe.
3 relationships, 3 disasters.
And it ended happily ever after.
Nice movie.
I just feel I can relate my feelings to it.
So many thoughts and feelings overflowed in me during and even after the movie.
And… I just don’t know how to put them in words.
It doesn’t matter I guess.

Next, four of us went around looking for hair salons!!
Hahaha =D
Cuz we thought of doing something, yeah~ just something to our hair.
Groom ourselves nicely at some classy hair salons.
REDS hairdressing, Jean Yip hairdressing, FOX, Hair waves, Thomas & Guys, Jansen.
Yeah~ I can now memorise all of them.
Why?
Haha~
Well, because we actually went from salons to salons twice or even thrice for some to make up our minds.
Evantually, our final decision?
Guess what!?!
We decided to just buy hair products instead.
Erm…All our effort of walking and surveying…
Hahas~

Oh, and besides that, we were like eating something every hour!
It’s like after walking for an hour, we’ll like “hey, lets find something to eat!” hahs~
Wells, food back there is just too nice and too cheap to resist!
Hehe~
Even before we left the mall at 8 plus, we shopped for more food to bring back to Singapore.
I just feel like buying everything.
Haih~ just if food doesn’t perish so easily.

After roaming in the mall for one whole day, the chamwhores eventually revealed themselves.
Haha!

After a session of taking pics like nobody’s business, we headed for home.
Fritzie seemed especially lively, jumping up and down, asking what’s next what’s next.
Wells, she claimed she’s a night animal.
And she’s oh so excited that we’re taking the same bus back to Singapore.
Haha.

It was really great!!!
We’ll head back to JB, other parts of it or other malls after our next pay day when we have more money. Hahahha =D

Sunday.
Woke up super late around noon as I was so so so tired after the whole JB trip.
Can still feel my legs aching slightly.
I logged onto msn as I have no plans for the day.
Saw cat, my dearest buddy online.
And so, I complained about me feeling stuck in my room with no where to go.
Sunday is a day which I usually hang out at places like orchard, suntec, marina square etc etc with people.
Even my roommate went out.
So, I was telling her how miserable I was.
No plans, no where to go, nobody to go with…
I really really appreciate your wonderful listening ears buddy =)
Luckily she was there.
And then she told me that it is actually a good thing to spend a day with myself.
It made me wonder.
Maybe I should.
After a while, she went off to do face mask, hair mask of whatever mask it is.
And I thought I should do something for myself.

So, decided to bring myself to parkway to get some stuffs.
I collected some stuff I ordered earlier.
After which I bought myself a cup of milk tea to sip.
It feels really good to treat myself a nice drink as I walk care freely under the light blue sky.
I felt so relaxed.
So free.
My actual plan was to head back home after buying myself drink.
But I decided to head for the beach instead.

Beach – a place with so many, so much memories.
I can see myself doing all the things I once did as I walk down the footpath, sipping that milk tea I have in my hand.
It was really crowded as it’s a Sunday.
So, I stepped out of the footpath and walked along the sandy beach.
It was nice.
I was sort of having this conversation with myself as I walked.
I felt as if I’m holding hands with my other self beside me.
The grip was just nice, just the right pressure, just the right temperature.
It was like we’re relating to each other about the thoughts and feelings we shared.
Too much to talk about, too much to share.
So I settled down at a spot under a tree as I was having this conversation within me.
Things of the past and the present went through my mind as we talked.
It was so comforting, going through the past hurts and pain, trying my best to overcome them, one by one, hand in hand.
I felt so nice.
Never knew spending time with myself was so enjoyable.
I’m so sorry for always neglecting myself, ricky.
I should have spent more time, quality time with myself.
I’m glad I made a right choice, having a date, spending a whole day with myself.
